Plan Ahead: Easter Egg Hunt at Chioppokes Plantation State Park

Follow the Easter Bunny down Quarter Lane to the Chippokes Mansion gardens, where you will find hidden eggs. It's great fun for those from two to 10 years old. Light refreshments will be provided on the mansion's porch. Be sure to bring a camera. It's sponsored by the Friends of Chippokes.

Rain or Shine! Children ages 2-10 are invited to hunt Easter Eggs, provided by the Friends of Chippokes, on the grounds of the historic Jones-Stewart Mansion at Chippokes Plantation State Park. 

Park Admission required; $4 per car. No charge for the egg hunt, but bring your own basket. 

Arrive early because hunt starts promptly at 2:00. Park at the Farm & Forestry Museum Lot to meet the costumed Easter bunny and view the farm animals. The Easter bunny will lead the children and adults to the grounds of the mansion for the hunt. Children are divided into age groups to allow the youngest children a fair chance. Refreshments provided for participants by Friends of Chippokes. The mansion will be open for tours - free. The Friends of Chippokes Gift Shop will also be open.
